The more ports, the more ingredients you can obtain. You progress by completing tasks and filling orders efficiently. You receive tasks - some of which have strict time limits. The storyline isn't much - but with this style of game, it really didn't bother me. You begin as a Novice chocolate maker, working your way through the game to become a Master Chocolatier. While 'Alexandra' is off trying to find her husband who was shot down during the war - she places you in charge of resurrecting the now defunct Baumeister chocolate factory. If you really want to relieve the Chocolatier games, buy it on Big Fish.

As it stands, unless the PC you are on is Windows 8 or below (and even then I'd have my doubts) don't purchase this. Maybe Steam will eventually get hold on the copy Big Fish has? I've requested a refund on this product. As far as I'm aware, both the developer and the publisher of this game are defunct, so I don't see much hope in this ever getting updated. I recovered my account and redownloaded it, and ran it through the compatbility filters, and it booted right up! I played for 2 solid hours, no crashes or anything. By happenstance I actually bought it on Big Fish years ago. I read in another comment in the community for this game that the copy on Big Fish Games had been updated and worked. The crashes would make my desktop completely sieze- I had to log out/shut the PC down to regain control. From there on, the game will run sub-par (frame drops on a game almost a decade old?) until it crashes. It'll boot, you'll notice right off the bat that the cursor leaves "marks" on animated tiles, like buttons. I've tried running it in Windowed mode, compatibility modes on, higher DPI settings.nothing for it made this game run. I've also heard the new MacOS is incompatible too. The version of this game that Steam distributes, for whatever reason, is incompatible with Windows 10. It's overpriced but if you feel like some nostalgia, buy it anyways. TLDR: game is pretty broken but still fun to play. Rose-tinted glasses and all that, I guess.

This game never goes on sale and is absolutely not worth the full price, so if you buy it you are technically getting ripped off, but I still thought it was fun enough to recommend to others, despite all the bugs and flaws. The game is for children so it's not very challenging and fairly short (approx. The devs are gone and you will get no help from Steam either, so any problems you encounter you have to deal with on your own You have to save and exit the game as often as possible to keep your progress, as it crashes a lot and you will lose anywhere between 2-10 minutes of playtime (which is very annoying in a game like this) I played this game when I was 12 and loved it intensely, and playing it again was very fun (even though I was annoyed about the performance). FIRST: I would only recommend buying this game if you have played it before and want a nostalgia trip.
